Just 4 easy steps:

Financial Aid and Scholarships

Financial aid programs assist students with paying college expenses. Need-based scholarships, grants, work study, and loans require completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid ( FAFSA ), which determines eligibility. Some Maryland State Scholarships have specific application and award criteria. The Cecil College Foundation Scholarship application can be found online at www.cecil.edu/alumni/foundation/scholarships.asp

Our goal is to make the financial aid application process understandable and easy to follow. Contact the College Information Center at 410-287-1000 for more information.

Payment Plans

You may pay tuition through convenient payment plans. Total tuition and fees for the semester will be divided into payments that are automatically deducted from a checking or savings bank account. For more information on ayment plans, contact the Cashier's Office at 410-287-1020.

More Opportunities

Specific opportunities are available for active military personnel, Maryland National Guard, and veterans. Public and private high school juniors and seniors may be eligible for the College Bound Scholarship Program. For detailed information contact 410-287-1000.

Academic Skills Assessment Information

The Academic Skills Assessment evaluates knowledge and abilities in reading comprehension, mathematics, and English. The results are used to place students in the appropriate classes. Any of the assessments may be completed during the registration process on a walk-in basis. Students should contact the Testing Center or an academic advisor for more information about the skills assessment. The Testing Center is located in the Arts & Sciences Building, Room 410. Please call 410-287-1015 for more information or testing hours.
