Geographic Information System (I) will provide an introduction to the principles and applications of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology. It examines the accuracy and applications of geographic information, while emphasizing how it can be used to enhance the decision-making processes of many disciplines such as transportation and logistics, business, biology, physics, and government and planning. There will be hands-on projects that will focus on real-world problems. 3 credits.
Pre-requisite: CSC 104 or CSC 109
