Instructions for Completing Application
The PTA Program at Cecil College requires specific criteria for admissions. Please review the PTA Prospective Student Packet for detailed admission/program requirements.
Strongly recommend applicant meet with an Academic Advisor, advising@cecil.edu or 410-287-100 option #4, before completing the PTA application. Advising will assist applicant with pre-requisite general education courses and criteria for meeting the minimum calculated 2.5 GPA requirement.
Decision Letter is emailed to the applicant's chawk address the first week of November.

What applicant will need to complete this application:
- When the applicant logs in to complete the PTA application, the following fields will automatically populate: Cecil ID#, name, mailing address, and chawk email address. If any of the information is incorrect, please STOP, contact the Cecil College registrar and email pta@cecil.edu.
- Unofficial Transcript from all institutions applicant attended.
- Test for Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) results:
- 2025 and 2024 TEAS results are accepted
- TEAS may be taken twice within the same calendar year. Results are super scored; the highest score for each content area of each test will be taken into consideration during the application review process.
- Optional: Observation, volunteering, attend Applicant Information Session, attend a PTA Open House, work at a PT Tech, the document is available at Cecil.edu/pta
- All supporting documents must be uploaded on the Document tab of the application. DO NOT email documents to the PTA program.
