Description

Ceramics/Egyptian Paste is a studio course dealing with the self-glazing Egyptian paste clay body, best known by the scarabs and small turquoise sculpture of ancient Egypt. The course covers the preparation of clay bodies and various forming techniques, such as press molding and hand building, that are most appropriate to the material. The course also covers the development of personal symbols and images to be used in designs. 1 credit
