Security Operations and Incident Response is an advanced course that provides students with foundational knowledge and hands-on experience essential for roles within Security Operations Centers (SOC) and Incident Response teams. Students will explore various security tools, master techniques for analyzing security events, effectively manage alert tickets, and become proficient in proactive and reactive cybersecurity strategies. Key areas covered include phishing analysis, log analysis, SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) management, and effective incident response procedures. This course closely aligns with the CompTIA CySA+ professional certification, preparing students to meet industry expectations and standards.
