NCI Quitpal

NCI QuitPal is a free app provided by the National Cancer Institute and can be accessed through iTunes or the App Store. Some of the features include the ability to track daily smoking habits with an easy to use calendar and graphs tracking money saved and number of packs not smoked. Also included are health milestones and craving tips to stay motivated, as well as the opportunity to connect with social networks to give milestone updates, create a video diary and watch personalized video messages from loved ones. There is also access to NCI’s Cancer Information Service by toll-free phone line or live chat.

Smoke Free - Quit Smoking Now

Smoke Free - Quit Smoking Now is a free app provided by David Crane and can be accessed through iTunes or the App Store. The app includes ways to track number of cravings/severity, total dollars saved, and days smoke free/number of cigarettes eliminated. There is also the opportunity to earn badges, share progress and energy levels. 
Check out the Smoking Cessation Stations located in the Library and the Physical Education Complex on the North East Campus. They can also be found at the Elkton Station. The stations have a variety of resources for anyone who may be interested in trying to quit.
